Profile:
Flying with Swindon Model Aero Club since 2000 I have a preference for warbirds with a selection of WW1,WW2 and Vietnam War aircraft.
I run a garage in Swindon and find model flying and socialising with other members a great stress reliever after a hard week. If you have the time to build your own model, you get great satisfaction from seeing it completed and flying. If time is tight, there are many Almost Ready To Fly models to get you flying quickly but these can be detailed to make them stand apart from the crowd. There are many different disciplines at the Club, from gliders to warbirds, so whether you prefer aerobatics, scale flying or calm evening flying, there is something for everyone and always help at hand from friendly Club mates.

Profile:
I am the novice of the team, however my enthusiasm  and organisational skills made me the ideal member to organise the Funfly events.

Profile:
I have enjoyed aircraft since my Dad used to take me to airshows as a small boy. I have been a Club member since 2007 and enjoy all aspects of the hobby, flying scale and sport models. I also get pleasure from helping and teaching others to fly.

Profile:
I started modelling by building ‘chuck’ gliders when I was young and have a passion for model flying. I enjoy teaching new members in radio control flight and have held several positions in the Club, including Training Officer and Club President.
